Calywire was founded in 2014 in Los Angeles. We started in the categories we knew best, K-Food and K-Beauty, and the work expanded as those brands grew. Today we serve consumer electronics, health, media, sports, technology, and public-sector clients alongside our food and beauty roots.
A decade of that work has produced relationships that last. We have partnered with brands such as KEWPIE, Sugimoto Tea, and Paldo for more than ten years. That kind of tenure is uncommon in marketing, and it is the clearest proof we can offer: brands stay because the work performs.

An in-house creative studio in LA
We keep a full in-house creative team on staff at our Los Angeles headquarters: camera, lighting, videographers, copywriters, and producers. What we shoot this week can go live this week. Our team is fluent in Korean, English, and Japanese, and many of us grew up in the U.S. as second- and third-generation Asian Americans. We understand both the brand’s home market and the American buyer. Korean-language reporting is our default, and a brand’s headquarters hears from the people actually doing the work, with no time-zone lag and no double translation.
