Overview
Calywire Inc. (“Calywire”, “we”, “us”) operates the Calywire Marketing API application (App ID: 1649298233002796), which integrates with the Meta Platforms (Facebook, Instagram) Graph API and Marketing API on behalf of our clients. This page explains how you can request deletion of data we process through your Meta-connected business assets.
What Data We Process
Through the Meta API, Calywire accesses and processes the following types of data on behalf of our clients:
- Advertising account data (campaigns, ad sets, ads, performance metrics)
- Facebook Page content (posts, comments, engagement metrics)
- Instagram business account content (posts, stories, reels, insights)
- Audience insights and demographic aggregates provided by Meta
- Business asset metadata (Pages, Pixels, Catalogs, Ad Accounts)
Calywire operates as a marketing agency. We do not directly collect personal data from end consumers; we process aggregated and business-level data from Meta APIs to provide marketing services to our clients.
How to Request Data Deletion
If you are a Calywire client and wish to request deletion of data Calywire has processed on behalf of your business, please contact us:

Subject Line: “Data Deletion Request — Meta API”
Please include in your request:
- Your business name and Meta Business Manager ID
- The specific data assets you wish removed (ad accounts, pages, etc.)
- Confirmation that you are an authorized representative of the business
Response Timeline
- Acknowledgment: We will acknowledge your request within 7 business days
- Completion: Data deletion will be completed within 30 days of acknowledgment
- Confirmation: We will confirm in writing once deletion is complete
Automatic Data Removal
When a client revokes Calywire’s access through Meta Business Manager (Partner settings → Remove access), Calywire will automatically cease processing that client’s data. Any cached or stored data from that client will be removed within 30 days of access revocation.
Data We Cannot Delete
Some data is stored by Meta and not by Calywire. To delete data held by Meta directly, please follow Meta’s own data deletion procedures at https://www.facebook.com/help/.
